One Festival, Many Volunteers

A Great Big Thank You to everyone who helped us make this year's CT Folk Festival and Green Expo so successful! Everything went so well and you are all awesome! We were a great team.

CT Folk needs volunteers to help with the Connecticut Folk Events during the year such as the First Friday Concerts and our annual CT Folk Festival & Green Expo. Meet friendly, like-minded people while learning how a festival operates and make a tangible difference.

Here’s some Volunteer Information to get you started...

What does a volunteer do?
Our volunteers do a multitude of tasks that make the CT Folk events run smoothly and ensure a great experience for all who come. Volunteers help set up and tear down, greet people and check-in ticket holders, usher, provide hospitality for the performers, manage parking and directing people, work with the stage crew, work the information booth and merchandise tables selling t-shirts and CDs, provide safety and security, and much more.

What does a volunteer get in return for their time?
A volunteer gets free access to the ticketed events during the year, if you volunteer at the Green Expo and Festival you get a t-shirt, too!

Volunteers get a behind-the-scenes experience and get to meet a community of other like-minded individuals, where friendships and memories are made and remembered for a lifetime.
